Volunteers make an extraordinary contribution to Empowered. We applaud our first batch of student leaders comprising Josie Lim, Mugilan Suppaya, Rachel Loo, Shane Ng, Ng Ee Von, Tanusia Sudha, Choo Hwei Ming, Suhaila Fatima Kamrani and Choon Ching Ju for their excellent work and support.

The student leaders will continue to lead, by supporting Empowered in our upcoming community projects in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Additionally, they play a very important role in our Patient Support Program by providing moral and emotional support to the beneficiaries of our patient support program. Empowered will soon embark on a new mentoring program to aid student leaders in their personal growth and development.

At a recent lunch gathering to thank them, Dr Christina Ng and the student leaders shared mutual experiences about community service. To Tanusia who is continuing her education in Scotland, we thank you for your support and wish you all success in your future endeavours.
