- Filofax-styled – able to slot results and slips into this folder book
- Appointments' section - details on doctor’s appointments, appointments for therapies etc.
Why is My Journal useful?
- Gives information through simple and clear explanation to patients who are newly diagnosed with cancer.
- Helps to allay fears and doubts by correcting misconceptions about cancer and treatments.
- Organises the medical plans of patients by providing a useful system of tracking their vital health information.
- Provides ample space for patients to record their medical journey.

How can I help for My Journal Book Campaign?

Through your generous donation towards EMPOWERED’S MY JOURNAL BOOK CAMPAIGN, low-income cancer patients from district or rural public hospitals will receive a free copy of this HELPFUL, RESOURCEFUL and THERAPEUTIC cancer educational book.

Note: Every RM 100 donation that goes towards My Journal Book Campaign will enable EMPOWERED to give one copy of “My Journal” to each cancer patient.
* Any special request for cards or packaging will be borne by the sponsoring individual. EMPOWERED will only provide standard EMPOWERED gift cards for this purpose. Arrangement of visit for personal distribution of the book will need to be negotiated with the hospital.
** Costs related to the sponsoring individual’s visit to the hospital for this personal book distribution will be borne by the sponsoring individual.

(MJBC) Ambassador
How can I be a MJBC Ambassador?
Every year, EMPOWERED is in search for a MJBC ambassador. A MJBC ambassador should have the following criteria:-
- sponsored a generous number of My Journal books for the year
- has a keen interest in the efforts and work of EMPOWERED
- has the passion for serving those struggling with cancer
- believes in advocating for empowerment to those struggling with cancer
- hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow for cancer patients
- believes in reaching out to the low-income groups and communities in need of better healthcare
What are the roles of a MJBC ambassador?
- To actively promote My Journal books as well as encourage friends and relatives to be sponsors for MJBC
- To be present for MJBC events and actively engage with participants involved
- To be supportive of EMPOWERED and our efforts
What are the little joys of being a MJBC ambassador?
- MJBC Ambassadors are given opportunities to reach out, journey with and help the low-income cancer patients as well as the at-risk group from low income communities.
- MJBC Ambassadors are given a rare privilege to make a difference and change that the low-income cancer patients need: to be informed on their illness, available treatments and alternatives, be given the chance to explore options and manage their lives through these times of struggle.
- MJBC Ambassadors are specially invited to all MJBC and EMPOWERED events.
- MJBC Ambassadors will be specially featured on Empowered’s website with interviews and sharing on his/ her hopes, dreams and inspirations related to service for those struggling with cancer.
